THE CÔTE BLEUE
Discover the Côte Bleue sites (Carro, la Couronne, Sausset, Carry, Méjean, Niolon) near Marseille. Near Aix TGV and Marignane airport, a fascinating universe awaits you on and under water.
Our premises, facing the Etang de Berre, will also be the perfect place to welcome you for training courses on breathing, static apnea and validation of apnea levels.
EXPLORE SAFELY
For Team Oxygen, safety in freediving is paramount. Our role is to do everything possible to make sure that you can live adventures, near Marseille, in comfort and safety, in a pleasant atmosphere.
Your guides: sea lifeguard and PSE2 first-aider.
Equipment: oxygen therapy kit, VHF, updated first aid kit, inflatable boats, buoys, water scooter and technical equipment.
Learning and regular updates on safety at sea. Vigilance regarding fatigue, cold and hydration of participants.
Possibility to get out of the water quickly, in case of problem, sea sickness. Organization of the outings according to the weather constraints and the level of the people.
The club is affiliated with the FSGT and has a liability insurance.

During our outings: we collect waste at sea, we don’t take any individuals from their environment, we encourage car pooling, we launch from the coast (the boat impacts the air and the sea and creates noise pollution that disturbs species). We are also committed to various projects of depollution and environmental awareness

Experience unique aquatic adventures to discover yourself and the beauty of the sea. Develop your aquatic ease and well-being underwater in the magnificent sites of the Côte Bleue. Marine reserves, arches, faults, caves and tunnels will be your learning and discovery grounds.
PROGRAM – 8:30 a.m. > 3 p.m.
Mornings: each session begins with stretching and breathing exercises and a briefing on the day’s activities, before heading out to sea to practice the following themes.
D0: Preparing for the course
Study the video material provided and complete the preparatory exercises (optional).
Day 1:Immersion
Work on the fundamentals of exploration: relaxation, verticality, postures, orientation, gliding and safety techniques.
Day 2: freedom in 3 dimensions
Evolve through arches, tunnels and rifts of varying depths to develop your aquatic skills.
D3: gain confidence
Reinforce your skills in the natural environment and increase your time underwater to make the most of the sea’s beauty.
Afternoons : after a picnic together, the rest of our session will be dedicated to theory and dry exercises based on the AIDA 2 program and your specific questions and needs (compensation, managing the urge to breathe, training…).
To allow time for rest and assimilation of skills, we only go out to sea once a day, but our sessions are longer, averaging between 2 and 3 hours in the water.
CERTIFICATION
During this course, and at your request, you will be able to validate an autonomous freediving level AIDA2 or A2 (FSGT), which will enable you to dive anywhere in the world. You’ll need to demonstrate your technical skills on the outings and pass a theory test on the final day. A surcharge of €30 will be applied to cover the cost of certification by the apnea federation.

On the Côte Bleue, between Martigues and Marseille (Carro, la Couronne, Sausset, Carry, Méjean, Niolon), depending on weather and teaching needs. Our premises in Saint Mitre les Remparts (opposite the pond), will also be a fallback solution in case of bad weather, or hot weather for the theoretical parts.

Water bottle, floor mat, diving equipment. Equipment hire available at €30 per day for the complete kit (lead belt, 5 mm wetsuit, mask and snorkel, fins) or individual items.

Travel to the heart of freediving for a unique moment of connection with yourself and the sea. We will start with breathing exercises, then we will go and immerse ourselves gently; feel the buoyancy, the glide, the flow, the letting go… in beautiful landscapes.

Presentation of the day, questions/answers on the discipline. Then a simple muscular awakening, a dry warm-up, to prepare the body for the session.
OUT OF THE WATER
Introduction to conscious breathing and exercises to familiarize yourself with the sensation of breath-holding.
Ventilatory relaxation and body scan to prepare for descents once in the water.
Safety point on compensation.
GET INVOLVED
We’ll start with aquatic ease exercises: verticality, relaxation, ducking, palming, orientation, compensation… that will help you explore the natural mobility of your body as it moves through the element.
FREEDOM IN 3 DIMENSIONS
We’ll explore exceptional sites and put into practice what we’ve seen. You’ll glide silently through the water and be swept away by the calm under the surface.
DEVELOP YOUR AQUATIC EASE
Your confidence in your ability to hold your breath increases. You’ll become more aware of your breathing and feel a unique connection with water and how to move with it.
END OF SESSION
The session ends with a moment of relaxation and debriefing.
You’ll leave with a unique sensory experience and a captivating introduction to freediving.

END OF SESSION
The session ends with a moment of relaxation and debriefing. You’ll leave with a unique sensory experience and a captivating introduction to freediving.
CERTIFICATION
A world-renowned freediving certification will be issued at your request and if you wish, after validation of the course.
